Bihar News: CM Nitish Laid Foundation Stone Of Dam And Water Treatment Plant Worth Rs 1350 Crore In Rohtas – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live


Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Dehri on-Sone in Rohtas district on Monday. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were also present with him. The Chief Minister reached Dehri by road at 4 pm and laid the foundation stone of the drinking water supply scheme on turnkey (water treatment plant) basis under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan to be built at a cost of about 1350 crores at Anicut. Its objective is to clean the water of Son river and make it potable and supply it to Aurangabad, Dehri and Sasaram cities. After this, the Chief Minister inspected and inaugurated the Center of Excellence at Dehri ITI College. Along with this, in a program organized in Bastipur village of Bhaisahan Panchayat, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development related schemes and also distributed dividends among the beneficiaries.

After this, after inspecting the newly constructed Panchayat Library and Panchayat Bhawan, the Chief Minister left for Patna before the scheduled time limit. Due to this, disappointment was also seen among the beneficiaries of many schemes. Actually, the Chief Minister was to distribute tricycles among the disabled. But he could not meet the disabled, due to which disappointment was seen among the people waiting for several hours. Actually, all the proposed programs of the Chief Minister were completed before their scheduled time limit and in a short time. Due to this, tricycles among the disabled beneficiaries, cheques among the beneficiaries of Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme and dividends of many schemes were not distributed by the Chief Minister. However, strict security arrangements were made in the entire city for the Chief Minister’s program. Magistrates and police officers were seen deployed at every nook and corner.


According to the information, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday inaugurated the work by unveiling the plaque of the drinking water supply scheme for Aurangabad, Dehri and Sasaram cities under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan at the Anicut located at Dehri on Sone in Rohtas district. Additional Chief Secretary of Water Resources Department Chaitanya Prasad gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about the drinking water supply scheme in Aurangabad, Dehri and Sasaram through the map. The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed building of Tech Lab and Workshop at the Government Industrial Training Institute Dehri on Sone at a cost of Rs 307.73 lakh and Sasaram at a cost of Rs 272.07 lakh under the Seven Nischay Yojana-2 by unveiling the plaque and cutting the ribbon. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the newly constructed building of Tech Lab and Workshop. During the inspection, the Chief Minister inspected laser cutter, electric vehicle section, additive manufacturing lab, robotic, paint booth, advanced plumbing, Internet of Things lab, product verification, analysis lab etc. and took detailed information from the officials.


The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone by unveiling the plaque of police station building and outhouse, regional forensic science laboratory, joint building for specialized units at Mufassil police station Dihri in Rohtas district. He inaugurated a total of 6,400 solar light schemes at a cost of Rs 1,962.82 lakh under the Chief Minister Solar Street Light Scheme in various blocks of the district, a total of 13 newly constructed Anganwadi centers at a cost of Rs 104.77 lakh and two Jeevika Gram Sangathan buildings by unveiling the plaque. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone by unveiling the plaque related to 66 libraries to be built in various blocks of the district at a cost of Rs. 264 lakh, 17 Anganwadi Centres at the cost of Rs. 169.18 lakh, renovation work of 372 Anganwadi Centres at the cost of Rs. 465 lakh, construction work of Basic Middle School Bastipur, Bhainsaha, Dehri at the cost of Rs. 221.76 lakh and 21 Gram Panchayat playgrounds and sports facilities to be built in various Panchayats of the district at a cost of Rs. 310.32 lakh. During this, the Chief Minister said that special care should be taken that all the work is completed properly and on time.


The Chief Minister inaugurated the library in Gram Panchayat Bhainsaha, Bastipur by cutting the ribbon. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the library and Panchayat level Public Service Center Bhainsaha and took detailed information about the facilities provided. During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that the operation of the Panchayat level Public Service Center will provide a lot of convenience to the people. During the program, the Chief Minister observed the exhibition organized by departments like Health Department, District Industries Center, District Transport Office etc. During the exhibition visit, the Chief Minister handed over the keys of the community building cum work shed under Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission Scheme, employment letters to the newly appointed Vikas Mitras under Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department (Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission), keys of newly constructed houses under Chief Minister Rural Housing Assistance Scheme, certificates to the trained beneficiaries under Kushal Yuva Program and keys to the selected beneficiaries under Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme. Also, the Chief Minister provided a cheque of Rs 2 crore 49 lakh 18 thousand 400 to 1,035 beneficiaries under the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme and a cheque of Rs 74 crore 17 lakh to 1,864 Jeevika Self Help Groups to Jeevika Sisters.
