Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Muzaffarpur today, but before that, fearless criminals opened indiscriminate fire on a contractor early in the morning. During several rounds of firing, one bullet hit the contractor in the chest, after which he fell on the ground. The incident created panic in the entire area. Hearing the sound of the bullet, local villagers rushed to the spot and admitted the seriously injured contractor to the hospital for treatment, where in view of his critical condition, he was referred to a private hospital in the city. The incident took place in Sakra police station area.
The incident took place during the morning walk
Regarding the incident, local people say that the injured contractor is Manoj Rai, a resident of Machhi village of Sakra police station area, who had left his house for morning walk like every day. Two criminals riding a bike shot him during his morning walk, due to which he got injured and fell there. During this, Manoj Rai was hit by a bullet in the chest. People said that as soon as the bullet was fired, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. The people present there hurriedly admitted the injured contractor Manoj Rai to a private hospital in Muzaffarpur for treatment, where his condition is said to be critical. Police have recovered several bullet casings from the spot.

Local people informed the police about the incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Sakra police station chief Raju Kumar Pal, who reached the spot, said that the police have recovered two shell casings and two live cartridges from the spot. The incident is being investigated and now the injured has been admitted to a private hospital in the city for treatment. Police are scanning the nearby CCTV.
