In Gaya district, criminals have attacked a BJP women leader and public representative. The woman leader has been injured in this attack. The woman leader is Bodh Gaya’s district councilor and BJP leader Dr. Jyoti Paswan. Police is investigating the matter.
The manager was also beaten up
Regarding the incident, local people say that Dr. Jyoti Paswan, District Councilor of Bodh Gaya and State Co-convenor of BJP’s Panchayati Raj Cell, was attacked by half a dozen anti-social elements. In this incident, the criminals also assaulted the District Councilor’s manager. During this, the criminals snatched the chain from his neck. Due to the assault on the District Councilor by the miscreants, he has suffered serious injuries in many parts of his body. The incident took place near Domuhan in Bodh Gaya police station area.
Treatment was done at the local community health center
Dr. Jyoti Paswan said that she reached Bodhgaya police station to save herself from the clutches of criminals. After the incident, the district councilor talked to District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan SM and informed him about the entire incident and demanded a bodyguard. After the incident, BJP leader cum district councilor Jyoti Paswan reached Bodhgaya police station and lodged a complaint. Seeing the BJP leader injured, the police first got her treated at the local community health center Bodhgaya.
The driver and the manager were also beaten up
Regarding the incident, Dr. Jyoti Paswan said that a year ago he had helped a grocery shop owner near Domuhan with one lakh rupees. He was making excuses about returning the money soon. On Monday, some villagers near Domuhan stopped him and were talking to him to demand a house. During this time, Dr. Paswan sent his driver to take the money from the shop owner, but the shop owner, being from the other party, called some of his people. After which, many of his people reached there in no time. Seeing the people called by phone, the shopkeeper’s morale increased. After that, the miscreants started beating Dr. Jyoti Paswan, his driver and manager.
Was getting threats for many days
Dr. Jyoti Paswan further said that after that many people reached near my car and started beating me. She said that a criminal who was a worker of another party and was a strongman has attacked a woman. I somehow ran away from there to save myself. If I had not run away, I would have lost my life. She asked the police to arrest the accused as soon as possible so that a woman representative can work fearlessly in the area. At the same time, the BJP leader said that she has been receiving threats for the past several days. I have also given an application to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bodhgaya in this regard, making him aware of such cases and demanding a bodyguard. If I had a bodyguard with me, such an incident would not have happened. However, after receiving information about the incident, the police came into action and started raiding various places to catch the accused.
