In the capital Patna, criminals shot two brothers returning from a wedding ceremony. The villagers hurriedly admitted both the brothers for treatment in AIIMS, Patna, where the elder brother Jainendra Sharma died during treatment, while the condition of the younger brother Bhupendra Sharma remains critical. After the information about the incident, an atmosphere of sensation was created in the entire village. Police reached the spot after receiving information and recovered five bullet shells from the spot. The police is looking into the entire matter by linking it to the land dispute. The incident took place in Sheikhpura village of Naubatpur police station area.
Criminals were already hiding near the house
Regarding the incident, police say that land traders Jainendra Sharma and Vipendra Sharma had gone to Sheikhpura village of Naubatpur police station area late on Monday night to attend a wedding ceremony in the village. When the two brothers started returning home from the wedding ceremony, criminals hiding in the street started firing at them near their house. Jainendra Sharma has been hit by four bullets, while his brother Vipendra Sharma has been hit by two bullets. After committing the incident, the criminals fled from there on foot. As soon as people heard the sound of the bullet, people nearby reached the spot. Local villagers admitted both the injured brothers to AIIMS, Patna for treatment, where Jainendra Sharma died during treatment.
Police engaged in investigation
Local people informed the Naubatpur police station about the incident. As soon as the information was received, Naubatpur police station in-charge Rajneesh Kumar Kesari reached the spot and started investigating the case. Regarding the incident, police station in-charge Rajneesh Kumar Kesari said that elder brother Jainendra Sharma died during treatment in Patna AIIMS, while younger brother Bhupendra Sharma is seriously undergoing treatment in Patna AIIMS. The police station chief said that the matter is being investigated.
