After the wedding ceremony, the family members were preparing for Chauthari Puja late on Tuesday evening. Many family members who had come to attend the wedding ceremony were present at home. Suddenly a cooking gas cylinder caught fire while cooking. As soon as the people of the house saw the fire, they started trying to extinguish it. The family members started using blankets and spraying water to extinguish the fire.

The injured were admitted to the hospital

It is being told that despite a lot of efforts the fire was not extinguished. During this time, two cylinders kept there suddenly exploded. The blast was so horrific that even the Karkatnuma house suffered a lot of damage. Also, in this incident, eight children, two youths and four women who had come to attend the wedding ceremony were injured. The injured children include Bablu Kumar 10 years, Sandhya Kumari 12 years, Shubham Kumar 4 years, Priya Kumari 4 years, Piyush Kumar 6 years, Amarjeet Kumar 8 years, Sanjeet Kumar 9 years, Jesus Kumar 6 years. Apart from this, two youths include Sonu Kumar 25 years, Akhilesh Mahato 24 years and four women include Janu Devi 35 years, Munni Devi 30 years, Meena Devi 30 years and Anita Kumari 20 years. All the injured have been admitted to Nalanda Medical College Hospital in Patna late on Tuesday night.
