There was a sensation when the dead body of a GRP jawan was found under suspicious circumstances on the railway tracks of Murliganj station in Madhepura. The deceased soldier was posted in Pratapganj of Supaul. People are making various kinds of speculations regarding the death of the GRP jawan. There has been hue and cry among the family members since the death of the soldier. Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, Katihar Railway SP and GRP personnel reached Purnia GMCH for post-mortem with the body. After the post-mortem of the dead body, the GRP jawan will be given a guard of honor in Katihar.

Dead body found on railway tracks

The deceased GRP jawan was identified as Motiur Rehman (30), son of Saifuddin, resident of Rangra, Kursela police station, Katihar. Regarding the incident, family members say that the deceased GRP jawan Motiur Rahman was posted in Pratapganj of Supaul. He had Scott duty. But the very next morning his body was found on the railway tracks under suspicious circumstances. There were fresh wound marks on the face and back of the head. There was blood coming from the nose, face and back of the head. Police should take the matter seriously and conduct a high-level investigation into the incident.

Guard of Honor will be given

As soon as the dead body was found, there was a sensation at the station. The soldiers deployed on the platform identified the dead body of the soldier and informed the Railway SP about the matter. As soon as the information was received, SP reached the spot. The family members were informed about the incident. After which Katihar SP along with GRP and RPF jawans reached GRPS Purnia for post-mortem of the dead body. After completing the post-mortem process here, the body has been taken to Katihar. The deceased soldier will be given a guard of honour.
