The body of a teenager has been found in Nalanda. The family members allege that some boys from the village have killed Deepak. The incident took place near the chimney furnace near Nauranga village under Bind police station area. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Kumar (15), son of Rajesh alias Raju Kewat, a resident of Nauranga village. After the incident, there was a stir in the area. People from the surrounding area gathered. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating.
Deepak’s uncle Gorelal told that on Thursday night around 8:00 some boys called Deepak and took him away from home. After this he did not return home. Despite a lot of search Deepak could not be traced. In the morning when the women of the village went towards the chimney kiln for defecation, they saw Deepak’s body lying on a heap of mud, then the incident was revealed. As soon as the family members got the information about the body being found, they reached the spot and started screaming. There is a black mark on the neck of the teenager. And there are injury marks on the body too. Due to which it is being suspected that he was killed by strangulation and beating. A pen has also been recovered nearby. There are also marks of attack with the pen on the body. Deepak also had a scuffle with the miscreants before the murder. There is mud on the body at many places.
Discussion of murder over love affair
Family members say that Deepak Kumar was the second among five siblings. He was a ninth class student of Bind High School. Deepak’s father Rajesh lives in Chennai and works in a private company. He is returning home after getting the news of his son’s death. There is a discussion that the murder was committed due to a love affair. As soon as the local police got the news of the body being found near the chimney kiln, the Bind police station chief reached the spot with his team and started investigating. Police station chief Roshan Kumar said that the police is investigating all aspects. The real cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes. There are injuries on the body and a black mark on the neck. Prima facie, it appears to be murder by beating. The FSL team has been called to the scene. Further action will be taken on receipt of the application.
