Dozens of thatched houses suddenly caught fire in Suppi of Sitamarhi district of Bihar. The incident took place in Rampur Kanth village of Suppi police station area. Where the thatched houses of about 12 people were burnt due to a sudden fire on Thursday night. Half a dozen cattle tied in the houses also burnt to death in the fire. There is a possibility of loss of property worth lakhs in this incident.

According to the information, a bonfire was set up next to the house of Surendra Jha, a resident of Rampur Kanth village of the police station area. It is feared that a fire broke out in Surendra Jha’s house before that. After that the fire spread and engulfed the thatched houses of about 12 people including Sanjay Kumar Jha, Chandeshwar Jha, Kamlesh Jha, Ajit Kumar Jha, Ramagya Das, Ramsharan Das, Ram Ayodhya Das.

Seeing the blazing fire, the villagers tried to extinguish the fire. But the fire could not be controlled. However, how this fire started is not clear. On the information of social worker Dheeraj Kumar, the fire brigade from Dumra reached the spot. Efforts are being made to control the fire with great effort. However, after the arrival of the fire brigade, the spread of the fire stopped.

On receiving information about the incident, Police Station Head Vishnu Dev Kumar and Panchayat head representative Madhav Kumar Jha reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police station chief said that if applications are received from the fire victims regarding the incident, necessary action will be taken to provide them financial help.
