On Tuesday, June 25, a 9-year-old child took charge as the armed ADG in the ADG office of Varanasi Zone. The child is suffering from cancer and he wants to become an IPS officer. To fulfill this dream of the child, ADG Piyush Mordia of Varanasi Zone handed over the charge to him for a day. As soon as the news of this came out, people started celebrating in Supaul district of Bihar. Actually, 9-year-old son Prabhat Kumar Bharti of Ranjit Kumar Das, a resident of Tekuna Ward 6 of Pratapganj block area under Supaul district of Bihar, is a brain tumor patient. Father Ranjit teaches in a coaching center run in the village itself. Along with this, he is also preparing for Bihar Daroga.

Suddenly his health deteriorated in school

Ranjit says that Prabhat studies in Vidya Niketan School in the village. In the month of February, his health suddenly deteriorated in the school itself. After which, he consulted many doctors at the local level. But when things did not work out, after getting information about brain tumor, Prabhat was taken to the cancer ward of Muzaffarpur Medical College for treatment. However, there was no better arrangement for young children there either. In such a situation, on the advice of doctors, Prabhat was admitted to Tata Memorial Hospital in Varanasi. Prabhat’s tumor was operated on 20 March. He underwent radiation from 7 May to 22 June. Meanwhile, when the social organization Make a Wish Foundation of India got information about Prabhat, it contacted the family. In a conversation with the organization, Prabhat told that he wants to become an IPS officer. After which, with the efforts of the organization and the consent of ADG Piyush Mordia, Prabhat’s dream could come true.
