A massive fire broke out in a market located in Sipara of Beur police station area of Patna. The coaching, gym and restaurant present on the first and second floors of the market have also been hit by the fire. There was a sensation in the surrounding area after seeing the plume of smoke. Here, Beur Police Station Officer Sunil Kumar said that information about fire has been received. He said that a fire broke out in a market located next to the State Bank of India near Sipara. Fire broke out from restaurant chimney
It is being told that on Friday, the fire started due to a spark from the chimney of the restaurant on the ground floor. The chimney of the restaurant is next to the coaching centre. As soon as the spark from the chimney caught fire, the flames reached the coaching institute. Due to this, the LCD TV installed in the coaching started burning. After this, there was a sensation among the students studying there. Students started walking out of the coaching institute to save their lives. Meanwhile, the fire gradually took a huge form and engulfed the entire coaching centre. The students tried to control the fire but as the flames intensified, the students also started leaving the place to save their lives. Meanwhile, the students studying in the coaching institute and the library located there somehow came out.
Goods worth more than Rs 10 lakh burnt to ashes
People nearby told that a health center runs on the floor just above it. Some youth were also present in the health center. As soon as information about the fire was received, all the people present there ran away to save their lives. People informed the fire squad about this. It is being told that after receiving the information, about half a dozen fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Meanwhile, items worth more than Rs 10 lakh belonging to the coaching institute, library and gym were burnt and destroyed. Police station in-charge Sunil Kumar said that at present he has not received any application in this matter. It is difficult to estimate the loss due to this.
