A sudden fire broke out in the AC coach (M-9) of Holi special train (01410) in Bhojpur. Due to the low speed of the train, some passengers saved their lives by jumping from the train. There were no casualties during this period. However, Railways claims that there were no passengers in the AC coach which caught fire. It is being told that the Holi special train going from Danapur to Lokmanya Tilak (Mumbai) via Khul Arrah had reached near Karisath station of Danapur-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay railway section on Tuesday midnight when suddenly the train caught fire. Seeing the strong flames, there was panic among the passengers.
Passengers came out after saving their lives
As soon as information about the incident was received, police, rural and railway employees reached the spot. They immediately called the fire brigade team. After this, the fire brigade team with the help of local villagers brought the fire under control. After receiving information about this incident, railway officials reached the spot and are investigating the entire matter. However, there has been no casualty of life or property due to less crowd in the train due to Holi. Passengers say that first light smoke was seen from the AC coach and by the time we could understand anything, a massive fire broke out. After the fire, all the passengers who were in the AC bogie escaped with their lives.
