Five people died due to lightning during the rains in Kaimur for several days. These deaths are one in Bhagwanpur police station area, one in Rampur, two in Nuaon and one in Ramgarh police station area.
According to information, two persons have died in Nuaon and one person in Ramgarh police station area. A young man working in his field in Jaitpura Khurd village of Bhagwanpur police station area died due to lightning. The deceased is said to be Ramnivas Bind, son of Ramkaval Bind, a resident of Jaitpura village. A young man died due to lightning strike in Baghar of Sonav village of Belav police station area. Ashish Kumar, son of Manoj Singh, a resident of Sonav village, said that Sita Muni died due to lightning strike in Sijhua village of Ramgarh block. While two other women were injured.
It is said that this woman from Badhar had gone to the village to work in the fields. Then she died due to lightning strike. A young man working in the fields in Jaitpura Khurd village of Bhagwanpur police station area died due to lightning strike. The deceased is said to be Ramnivas Bind, son of Ramkaval Bind, a resident of Jaitpura village. A young man died due to lightning strike in Bagha of Sonav village of Belav police station area. Apart from this, Sugriv Pal of Saaton Aveti village died due to lightning strike in Goreyadi Badhar of Nuaon block.
Shivji Bind of Haripur Dera village of Nuaon police station area was struck by lightning, due to which he died. Shivji Bind was working in the field when this incident happened. After the incident, there is mourning in everyone’s homes. The family members are inconsolable. The police have sent the bodies of all the deceased to Sadar Hospital Bhabhua.
Giving information, Kaimur police said that five people died due to lightning in different areas of Kaimur district. All the bodies have been taken into their custody and sent to Bhabua Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
