The department had already alerted
The weather department had issued a warning of rain in many districts of Bihar including Gaya and the border state Jharkhand. After the warning, it has been raining continuously for 24 to 48 hours at various places. Due to continuous rain, the water level of the rivers has increased. Due to heavy rain for two days, the water level of the Muhane river has once again suddenly increased. From Monday evening, due to the fast flow of water and rising water level, water started entering the village slowly. By Tuesday morning, flood water has engulfed half the village. There is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers due to the devastation in the last month. Seeing this suddenly, the villagers are shocked. The villagers told that a dam has been built on the Muhane river near Batsapur village. If a dam had been built one kilometer in front of the village at the end of the river, then flood water would not have entered the village and neither would there have been any damage.
