The deal for setting a candidate was fixed for Rs 7 lakh. However, no money transaction had taken place at present. The amount was to be paid after the completion of the work. Only blank cheques were being taken as security from the candidates. All three had reached Patna only to take the cheque from a candidate. But they were caught by the police here.

Constable recruitment is to be done on more than 21 thousand posts

The state government had issued a vacancy on 27 April 2023 for 21 thousand 391 posts of constable in Bihar Police. Online applications were also taken for this till 20 July 2023. About 37 lakh candidates applied for this, out of which about 19 lakh applications were rejected due to technical reasons. The same 18 lakh applications have been approved. In this, the selected candidates are to be given a monthly salary of Rs 21 thousand to Rs 69100.

Supaul police confirmed the arrest of the inspector

ASI Sunil Kumar Singh of Patna’s Kotwali police station said that the arrest has been made in case number 519/24.
