Four girls drowned while bathing in a water-filled pit in Begusarai. Locals somehow pulled out three of them from the water-filled pit and saved their lives. While one girl died a painful death by drowning. After this death, there was an uproar among the family members. The incident took place near Sankhu Gidar Chowd Bahiyar in Bahuara of Parihara police station area. The deceased girl has been identified as Radha Kumari (16) of Gyanchand Tanti, a resident of Ward No. 2 of Sankhu village.

Family members have told that today Radha Kumari went from home with four girls to take bath in a water filled pit in Chaud Bahiyar. While bathing, the four girls started drowning due to slipping of their feet. At the same time, the local people seeing the four girls drowning jumped into the water filled pit to save them. After this, three girls were somehow taken out of the water and their lives were saved. While Radha Kumari died a painful death by drowning. As soon as the information of this incident was received, there was an uproar among the family members. At the same time, the local people informed the Parihara police station about this incident.

After getting the information, the Parihara police station reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem and started further action. The Parihara police station in-charge said that a girl died while bathing in a water-filled pit. He told that four girls had gone together to bathe in a water-filled pit. Three of them were saved by the local people. While Radha Kumari could not be saved and she died by drowning.
