In Nawada, a friend killed his friend. The incident took place in Kurma village of Nagar police station area. The deceased child has been identified as Rahul Kumar (12), son of Pappu Chaudhary. Regarding the incident, local people say that this incident took place due to a dispute while playing cricket.
Murder happened while playing cricket
The deceased’s father Pappu Chaudhary said that some children were playing cricket near the house in Kurma village. While playing cricket, a quarrel started between my son Rahul Kumar and Pintu Chaudhary’s son Roshan Kumar. Both the children started abusing each other. Meanwhile, Roshan Kumar’s grandfather Suresh Chaudhary reached there and Suresh Chaudhary caught Rahul’s hand and his grandson Roshan Kumar hit Rahul on the head with a brick. He fell down as soon as he got hit on the head. As soon as Rahul fell on the ground, there was chaos there. The local people immediately took Rahul Kumar to Nawada Sadar Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
Family members said it was an old rivalry
The deceased’s father Pappu Chaudhary said that my son was murdered by bringing up an old rivalry on the pretext of cricket. Regarding the incident, Sub Inspector Ramesh Kumar Yadav said that an application has been given by the family. An FIR is being registered. The incident took place due to a dispute between children. After the incident, the police raided but all the accused have fled from their homes. The body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem. The deceased’s family has accused Suresh Chaudhary, son of Bundi Chaudhary and Roshan Kumar (15), son of Pintu Chaudhary.
