When the young man refused to marry her, the girl got angry and sprinkled petrol in front of the young man’s shop and set it on fire. The people nearby were stunned to see this incident. The love affair between the two was going on for two and a half years.

The girl’s 18th birthday was on November 8.

The young man had said that when he turns 18, we will get married. November 8 was the girl’s 18th birthday. After celebrating her birthday, the girl reached her lover’s house and told that she had reached the age of marriage. On hearing this the young man refused to marry. The girl became enraged by this and sprinkled petrol on her body and set herself on fire in front of her lover’s shop to commit suicide. People informed this matter to the team of Dial 112. The police arrived after the information, took the girl into custody from the spot and took her to the local government hospital.
