The girl’s cousin brother was killed in the firing that took place during the Tilak ceremony in Gaya. The incident took place in Kharagpura village of Tikari police station area. The deceased has been identified as Kundan Kumar (25), son of former chief Anil Paswan, resident of Jagdishpur village. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and are investigating the matter.

Regarding the incident, family members say that the Tilak program of Ranji Paswan’s son was going on. People from the girl’s side were preparing to offer tilak in the courtyard. In this sequence, people from the boy’s side started firing cheerfully. Meanwhile, a bullet hit a young man from the girl’s side, seriously injuring him. After the incident, injured Kundan was immediately brought to Sub-Divisional Hospital Tikari. But since the condition was serious, the doctors gave him first aid and referred him to Gaya for better treatment. But Kundan died while being taken to Gaya.

Police engaged in investigation

The family members informed the local police station about the incident. As soon as the information about the death of the youth in harsh firing was received, the police of Tikari police station also reached the spot and started investigation. After this incident the Tilak program was cancelled. Police of Tikari police station sent the body to Magadh Medical Hospital for post-mortem. The injured youth was the girl’s cousin.
