A young man from Bihar has done wonders. The whole village is proud of him for this feat. The young man is Sunny Kumar (25), son of Shambhu Prasad and Rekha Devi, resident of Saidpur Mohalla, Ward No. 12 of Nagar Panchayat Parsa Bazaar, about 45 kilometers from Saran district headquarters, who has been selected as Scientific Assistant (B).

Sunny was shaken by the difficult circumstances, but he did not let his dreams go in vain

How difficult it is to fulfill the dreams of a handicapped father and a mother who works as a cook. No one knows this better than Sunny, who has occupied this position with his ability and hard work. Because Sunny kept studying with the desire to do something for his family and country. However, Sunny and other members of his family did not even have a roof to live under. Also, Sunny was shaken by the difficult circumstances due to his father living a handicapped life after his leg was broken. Due to which there was a possibility of his dreams being shattered. Because the father always wanted to see Sunny succeed and fulfill his dream.

To fulfill Sunny’s dream, he had to work as a cook

Rekha Devi says that when Sunny’s father broke his leg, she kept encouraging him to educate his son and fulfill his dreams. Keeping that spirit high, Sunny started studying again. Along with her son’s education, husband’s treatment and serving him, she started working as a cook in a school to raise and feed the children. She worked for a daily wage of just 25 rupees. She made her elder son a laborer at her shop. To fulfill Sunny’s dreams, I and my elder son worked hard day and night and left no stone unturned to complete his education. Seeing the financial condition of the family, Sunny also worked as a palanquin bearer at a biscuit agency in Parsa Bazaar to pay his coaching fees. After working as a palanquin bearer, he continued his studies in the remaining time.

Remembering the bad times of his family, Sunny remained firm in fulfilling his dream

Sunny’s elder brother Mithlesh Kumar says that after passing the matriculation examination with first division, he started preparing for competitive exams like Polytechnic while studying Inter from Science Faculty from West PN Singh Degree College adjacent to Chhapra city. However, Sunny got some relief when he got selected in Polytechnic. He got success by studying Polytechnic. So in the year 2021, his training started at the Rail Wheel Factory located at Bela in Dariyapur block. However, he continued further studies. In the year 2022, he got selected for the post of Assistant in Project Scientific at the Institute of Plasma Research Center located in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. However, while working in the research center, Sunny continued his struggle to fulfill his dream. Seeing that difficult period of bad days of mother, father and brother, he continued his studies to fulfill his dream and kept moving forward towards the goal. Today the result of that is visible in front of the countrymen. Because Sunny’s hard work and dedication has led to his selection for the only post in the country in the year 2024.

Mummy, Papa and Bhaiya had only one dream

Sunny told that in the year 2024, he has achieved success on the single post of Assistant Scientist (B) in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, run at Homi Bhabha Road Mumbai, an autonomous institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. 38 candidates from all over the country had participated for this single post. In which I have been selected. Sunny said that it was a dream to serve the country by becoming a scientist. Which I am seeing being fulfilled today. However, my mother and father should be happier than us. Because at that time the life of humiliation was going on. Also, my whole family was struggling with difficult circumstances. In those days my father had become completely disabled. But in those difficult circumstances, my mother was working as a cook in the school as a laborer. At the same time, my elder brother Mithlesh used to encourage us as well as give courage to move forward by working as a laborer in a motor garage in a minor condition. I did not even have money for tuition fees to study in coaching, so to compensate for that, I have also done paldaari myself. Because there was no other option.

Mother’s eyes filled with tears of joy on son’s success

The heart of the mother, who herself worked as a cook when her husband became disabled, would be filled with joy when her son Sunny’s capabilities have made him known not only in the village but also in the state, country and abroad. Because along with son Sunny’s education, she also took care of the family. Although the elder son used to support the family by working sometimes in a motor garage and sometimes by working as a labourer in a cloth shop. The most important thing is that Sunny himself has done the work. Sunny is standing ahead in the direction of becoming a scientist by overcoming everyone’s struggle. The mother became emotional and started crying while remembering the tough times of her life.
