Indian Administrative Service officer KK Pathak once again disobeyed the orders of Nitish Kumar government of Bihar. Amar Ujala had already reported that he was not going to serve at the new posting given to him after he was removed from the post of Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department last month. KK Pathak did not go to the place where he was posted. Now the state government has issued a new transfer order. In this, KK Pathak has been made Chairman-cum-Member of Revenue Board. On Wednesday, the General Administration Department of Bihar Government transferred KK Pathak along with two other IAS officers.
CM himself ordered school holiday
After children fainted and a school student died in Patna due to KK Pathak’s order of not giving holiday in schools despite scorching heat, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself came forward and issued an order to close the schools. He had instructed all the District Magistrates through the Chief Secretary to issue an order to close the schools. After this, an order was issued to remove KK Pathak from the post of Principal Secretary of Education Department. After this, Pathak suddenly went on leave. The state government had transferred him on June 13, but he did not return from leave and got his board installed at the new place removed. Now the state government has cancelled his order of June 13 and posted KK Pathak in Revenue Board Bihar and has written that after returning from leave, Pathak will join the said post. KK Pathak will remain in the additional charge of Director General of BIPARD as before. Pathak will replace 1990 batch IAS officer Chaitanya Prasad in the Revenue Board. Chaitanya Prasad was in additional charge here.
