In Patna, criminals entered the shop of a cement merchant on Monday and shot him. The injured businessman was admitted to a private nursing home in Patna for treatment. The businessman died during treatment. After the incident, police reached the area and took custody of the dead body and sent it to Patna for post-mortem. Regarding the incident, Patna Sadar DSP 2 Satyakam said that the deceased has been identified as Alok Kumar (30), resident of Badh Marachi, Patna. The deceased used to trade cement and iron with his brother-in-law.

It is being told that cement businessman Alok Kumar was originally a resident of Marachi. He used to trade cement and iron with his brother-in-law in a village in Gopalpur. After having breakfast on Monday, he reached the shop from his home. In this sequence, two criminals who came on a motorcycle fired several bullets at Alok Kumar. After the incident, the criminals who came on motorcycle fled away waving weapons. As soon as people heard the sound of firing, people nearby reached the spot. With the help of local villagers, the injured Alok Kumar was admitted to a nearby nursing home.

People informed this to Gopalpur police station. Sadar DSP 2 Satyakam said that information has been received about shooting by two people. The police is investigating the entire matter. When asked the reason for the incident, he said that the police is currently investigating the matter thoroughly. He said that the CCTV cameras around the incident spot are also being scrutinized.
