The Income Tax team reached the house of land dealer and businessman Shankar Yadav in Housing Board Colony of Barari police station area in Bhagalpur. A five member team reached Shankar Yadav from Patna regarding the case of disproportionate assets. There was a stir in the area after seeing the Income Tax team. The team prohibited the entry of members coming from outside inside the house. After this she started scanning the documents.

It is being told that Shankar Yadav deals in buying and selling of land. Apart from this, he also has a tractor showroom. A large number of police forces were deployed outside Shankar Yadav’s house in the same Housing Board Colony. The raid team of Income Tax Department arrived from Patna and ordered a note counting machine. Sources say that the team also recovered lakhs of rupees in cash, gold and silver jewelery and land documents during the raid. However, officials are refraining from saying anything.

NIA raid on Moti Yadav’s hideouts

The house of Rangra block chief Moti Yadav has also been raided by the Rangra NIA team under Navgachia police district of Bhagalpur. Information has been received that a case was registered against Moti Yadav in NIA. In this connection, the NIA team had arrived with a house search warrant. Moti Yadav was not present in the house during the raid. When the NIA team reached, Moti Yadav’s wife and his brother were present in the house, whereas after conducting the raid till around 1 o’clock, the NIA officers and personnel returned.
