Bihar: Bihar government has transferred 14 IPS officers. Its notification has been issued by the Home Department. Shivdeep Vaman Rao Lande has been given the responsibility of Deputy Inspector General of Police of Purnia, Vikas Kumar of Begusarai and Baburam of Tirhut region.

Alok Raj, the new DGP of Bihar, has started to appear in action mode as soon as he took charge. This change has started with the transfer of 14 IPS officers of the state. The Home Department has issued its notification on Wednesday. The 14 IPS officers to be transferred include five IGs, seven DIGs and two SPs. Some officers who were on waiting list have been given new responsibilities to control crime, so that crime can be curbed.
