A list of 19 demands was submitted to the Railway Minister
MP Sanjay Jha handed over a memorandum to the Railway Minister for increasing the rail network and number of trains in North Bihar and for expansion of passenger facilities. Sharing the picture on social media, he wrote that he met the Railway Minister for increasing the rail network and number of trains and for expansion of passenger facilities. He also handed over a memorandum to him. It includes 19 demands including doubling of the Jaynagar-Darbhanga railway section, extension of train number 12141 (from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal to Patliputra) to Jaynagar via Darbhanga and advance completion of work under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at Sakri Junction.
The pace of development in the districts will be faster
Sanjay Jha wrote that taking the demand for expansion of rail network in North Bihar seriously, the Railway Minister has assured to consider it. We believe that with the expansion of rail network and facilities in North Bihar, not only will transportation become easier for crores of people, but the pace of development in backward districts will also accelerate.
