A JDU worker has been brutally murdered in Nalanda due to election rivalry and land dispute. The incident is from Maua village of Parbalpur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Anil Kumar (60), son of late Brahmadev Prasad. Regarding the incident, Anil Kumar’s daughter said that her father had gone to the field this morning to defecate. Half a dozen miscreants from the village, who were lying in wait, attacked him with spears and brutally murdered him by piercing his body with spears at various places.
He had become a polling agent, some people from the village had threatened him
The family said that he had become a polling agent during the Lok Sabha elections. After this, some people from the village had threatened him. And today he was brutally murdered. On getting information about the incident, JDU candidate from Nalanda Lok Sabha constituency Kaushalendra Kumar reached Sadar Hospital and consoled the family of the deceased. He said that Anil Kumar was a true worker of JDU. He had also become a polling agent. After this, some people had threatened him and today he has been murdered by the same people. Strict action will be taken against the culprits. My condolences are with the family.
The wife said- this dispute was going on with his own brother
The wife of the JDU worker said that there is a dispute over four bighas of land with her brother. The same people have murdered her husband due to land dispute and election rivalry. After getting information about the incident, Pawalpur police station chief Pappu Kumar took the body in his custody and reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem and has started investigating the whole case.
