Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had earlier snatched the MLA from Mukesh Sahni’s party Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP). At the same time, now the party’s election symbol boat has also been snatched away. Actually, the Election Commission has given boat print election symbol to Bharatiya Sarthak Party (BSP). BSP State President Sudhir Kumar Ojha gave this information in a press conference in Muzaffarpur on Saturday.
According to the information, on the basis of which Mukesh Sahni’s party VIP was claiming to cross the Styx in the upcoming elections. Now BSP party will ride that boat. Bharatiya Sarthak Party’s state president cum senior advocate Sudhir Ojha said that his party has become a registered party. His party has got the boat print election symbol. This time BSP will contest on 40 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Of these, 90 percent people coming from Nunia, Bind, Beldar, Mallah and extremely backward classes will be made candidates.
That means boat, the election symbol of Mukesh Sahni’s Vikassheel Insaan Party, has now gone into the hands of BSP. Because of this, Mukesh Sahni has suffered a big setback before the elections. At the same time, Sudhir Ojha further said that talks are going on with the regional parties of Bihar. If a consensus is reached and the regional parties follow the ideologies of his party, the Bharatiya Sarthak Party will contest the elections together.
It is noteworthy that the election symbol of VIP chief Mukesh Sahni’s party was the boat print, on the basis of which he had also contested the elections. Many MLAs from his party had also won elections with the same boat symbol. The boat on which he had promised to sink the party that did not meet his demands. Now how will he be able to stick to his words, this question is now being discussed in political circles.
