Ravi Manu Bhai Parmar became the President of BPSC

The government has appointed senior IAS officer of 1992 batch Ravi Manu Bhai Parmar as the new chairman of BPSC. The General Administration Department has also issued a notification for this.

High Court angry over delaying the case of giving job on compassionate grounds

Fire broke out in PMCH’s ICU

A sudden fire broke out in the Neo Natal ICU of Patna Medical College Hospital premises. The fire broke out due to short circuit. 30 ministers including CM Nitish Kumar in Bihar cabinet

Bihar cabinet has been expanded. Now a total of 30 ministers including CM Nitish Kumar and two deputy CMs Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha are in the Bihar cabinet. The cabinet expansion took place 46 days after the formation of the National Democratic Alliance government. Today a total of 21 ministers including three women took oath. JDU quota MLAs Leshi Singh, Ashok Chaudhary, Madan Sahni took oath as ministers. Nitish Mishra and Hari Sahani from BJP quota took oath in Maithili language. Hari Sahni came to take oath with a scarf on his head. Nitish Mishra has been a minister in the past also. Nitin Naveen, who was a minister in the Road Construction Department, also took oath as minister.

On behalf of JDU, Dr. Ashok Chaudhary, Sheela Mandal, Lacey Singh, Jama Khan, Ratnesh Sada, Maheshwar Hazari, Madan Sahni, Sunil Kumar, Jayant Raj are going to take oath as ministers.

BJP and JDU leaders have reached Raj Bhavan to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Today some 21 ministers can take oath. 108 proposals approved in Bihar cabinet meeting

108 agendas have been approved in the Bihar Cabinet meeting. Many important proposals were approved in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The proposal to build an international airport in Rajgir has been approved in the cabinet. Bhagalpur airport will also be renovated. The Chief Minister also agreed to the proposal to hand over Moinul Haq Stadium to BCCI. Bihar government will give Moinul Haq stadium on lease. Townships will be constructed in major cities of Bihar.
