Two people died due to lightning in Darbhanga late evening. As soon as information about the incident was received, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. The incident took place in Western Vilaspur of Hayaghat police station area. Both the deceased have been identified as Manjeet Manjhi (35) and Sadlu Manjhi (55), residents of Vilaspur village of Hayaghat police station area. Two youths died due to lightning on the river bank

Then information was received that both of them had died due to lightning on the river bank. As soon as the news of their death was received, there was chaos in the house.
Zonal Officer paid the government assistance amount
Local people informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, Block CO Shashi Bhaskar also reached the village of the deceased and took information about the incident. On this occasion, he said that the amount of government assistance received from the government will be paid soon. The police station chief present at the spot has sent the body to DMCH for post-mortem.
