In Aurangabad, a married woman was murdered for not getting a car in dowry. The deceased has been identified as Beauty Kumari, wife of Bablu Yadav, a resident of Tegwa village. The family members who came to get the post-mortem of the deceased’s body done told that in the year 2020, Beauty was married to Bablu Yadav, son of Dinesh Yadav, a resident of Tegwa. At the time of marriage, five lakh cash was given to the in-laws and one lakh separately to buy a bike.

Apart from this, other items were also given as per the demand of the in-laws. Everything was fine for a few days after the marriage. Later, the in-laws became blind in their greed for dowry. The in-laws started beating the married woman continuously for the demand of dowry. During this period, compromises were also made several times, but there was no improvement in the attitude of the in-laws.

Recently, a few days ago, the in-laws had beaten up the married woman for demanding an Alto car. After this, the matter escalated and on Monday late night, the in-laws beat up Beauty badly for demanding the car, due to which her health deteriorated.

After this, she was brought to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for treatment, from where, after first aid, the doctors referred her to Magadh Medical College Hospital, Gaya for better treatment, but she died on the way. On receiving information about the case, the police of Fesar police station reached the spot, took the dead body of the deceased in their custody and handed it over to the family after conducting post-mortem. The in-laws are absconding since the incident. After registering an FIR in the case, the police of Fesar police station is engaged in further action.
