Bihar News: Mentally Disturbed Laborer Commits Suicide By Consuming Poison In Munger, Police Engaged In Investigation

Arvind Kumar Mandal (50), a resident of Sherpur village under Basudevpur OP area of ​​Munger district in Bihar, committed suicide by consuming poison on Wednesday. After the death of Arvind, the family members were immersed in mourning. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the dead body into custody and took it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

The relatives of the deceased told that Arvind Kumar Mandal has two sons. The elder son is Amarjit Kumar (25) and the younger son is Amit Kumar (24). The deceased was a daily wage laborer and was taking care of his family only by doing wages.

Elder son Amarjit Kumar told that my father’s mental condition was a bit weak. He was undergoing treatment for the last 25 years. Although dad was a very friendly person. Used to do the work of all the people of the village. Never used to talk loudly to anyone. He told that his health started deteriorating at around 4 am on Wednesday. Perhaps he had consumed insecticide, due to which blood started coming from his mouth. We brought him to Sadar Hospital for treatment in a hurry. Where he died a few hours later during treatment at Sadar Hospital.

On the other hand, Dr. Ajay Kumar, posted on duty in the emergency room of Sadar Hospital, told that the patient had taken poisonous substance. Everything possible was tried to save him, but he died a few hours later.

Kotwali Police Station President DK Pandey told that Arvind Kumar Mandal died in suspicious condition. Relatives have said that he has committed suicide. Police has taken the dead body into custody. Postmortem of the dead body will be done and handed over to the relatives. The reasons behind the incident are being investigated.
