Metro will start from August 2025

After inspection he said that the metro work is going on at a fast pace. Civil work on the priority corridor from Malahi Pakdi to New ISBT is almost complete. Our priority is that the people of Patna should start getting metro facilities by August 2025.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Nitin Naveen said that there are five elevated metro stations in the 6.5 km long Priority Corridor of Patna Metro. These include Malahi Pakdi, Khemnichak, Bhootnath, Zeromile and New ISBT metro stations. After this, the city residents will reach Bairia bus stand from Malahi Pakdi in just 15 minutes. At the same time, he said that with the operation of Metro, the pressure of increasing traffic on the roads of Patna will also reduce. Also, the city residents will get better connectivity.

Patna will become the heart of metro

Urban Development and Housing Minister Nitin Naveen also inspected the Patna Metro depot near Bairia Bus Stand. While talking to the media there, he told that work ranging from washing to maintenance will be done in the depot. Apart from this, a control system will also be made here. You can say that this will hurt the entire Patna Metro. Control system, management system, security, training center will be present in the administrative building built here. A test track will also be constructed at the depot, where the metro trial run will take place.
