Minister in the state government Kedar Prasad Gupta has given a statement regarding the opposition parties’ counter-attack on the cases of bridge collapse in Bihar. He said that the government is looking into the matter itself and is taking the matter seriously. The bridges that have collapsed were old bridges. Still, if any engineer and contractor is found guilty, action will be taken against them and the money will be recovered.
Regarding the attack by opposition parties on the cases of bridge collapse in different districts, Bihar government minister Kedar Prasad Gupta said that no culprit will be spared. Whoever is guilty in this case, be it an engineer or a contractor, no one will be spared. Panchayat Raj Department minister and BJP leader Kedar Prasad Gupta said that most of the bridges that have collapsed in Bihar so far are old and are several decades old.
He said that some bridges under construction have collapsed. The Bihar government is very serious about this matter and is getting the matter investigated. After the investigation, whoever is found guilty will not be spared. Along with this, the contractor who is found guilty of this negligence will be made to pay the cost. The government is not going to spare anyone in the case of negligence.
