Madhepura’s Jannayak Karpuri Thakur Medical College Hospital’s cleaning minister Shravan Kumar got enraged after seeing the cleanliness system. On the continuous complaints received from the Medical College, suddenly the Minister in-charge of the district arrived with his entire team to inspect. The minister got enraged after seeing the arrangement there. During the inspection, the minister interacted with the patients. There the doctor prescribed a medicine from outside for a patient. Seeing this, the minister reprimanded the doctors during the inspection. The minister warned that doctors would be thrown out of the medical college if they ordered medicines from outside. Apart from the emergency, the minister inspected the OPD wards one by one. The minister warned the doctors that medicines would not be prescribed from outside. There is sufficient stock of medicines and injections in the medical college. Even after this, if medicines and injections are ordered from outside, the contract of the concerned doctor will be terminated and he will be thrown out. During the inspection, the minister interacted with the patients admitted to the hospital. Took information about ordering medicines from outside. Meanwhile, a patient complained about outside medicine and injection. Apart from District Officer Taranjot Singh, Sadar SDM Santosh Kumar, other officials were present during the inspection. Earlier, there was a stir in the hospital due to the surprise inspection of the minister in charge. Many doctors were not present in the medical college. The minister also questioned the officer present, but he did not get any answer regarding the absent doctor. The minister stayed in the medical college for about half an hour and talked to the sick patients and their families about the hospital arrangements.

Minister reached medical college instead of hospital

A 20-point meeting was held today in Madhepura. After the meeting, the minister’s inspection program at Sadar Hospital was already scheduled. But the minister took seriously the complaints of civil society and others regarding the mismanagement of the medical college and went to inspect the medical college.
