It is said that Sonu Sheikh, a resident of Shahpur village, was having a dispute with Saurabh Paswan, Saurabh Rawat, resident of Nardih village and Vicky Paswan, Biku Thakur and others, resident of Mahisaudi. Sonu Sheikh was returning to his home Shahpur from Jamui on Wednesday evening over this issue. Then 20 to 25 youths including Vicky Paswan, Bikku Thakur, Saurabh started beating him near Nardih village. However, the youth somehow ran away from there and reached his home Shahpur. Chasing him, 20 to 25 youths armed with sticks and weapons reached Sonu’s house Shahpur. The local people explained to everyone and sent them back. But, again 25 to 30 miscreants armed with weapons arrived and fired a dozen rounds of bullets and damaged more than a dozen bikes. Meanwhile, whoever they found on the way, the miscreants started beating him with sticks and more than half a dozen people were injured.
There is resentment towards the police of Town police station
After the incident, the local people informed the town police station in-charge Arun Kumar about the entire incident over the phone. After this, the police station in-charge said to call 112 police and inform them about the entire incident. People say that the fear of police has ended among the miscreants. All this happened at a distance of just three kilometers from the town police station.
