Janata Dal United MLA from Rupauli, Purnia and Bima Bharti, who was a minister with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the state, has resigned from the primary membership of JDU. She has approached Rashtriya Janata Dal national president and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav to contest elections from Purnia Lok Sabha seat. Pappu Yadav is already preparing to stake claim on Purnia Lok Sabha seat from Congress. Now Bima Bharti, who is going to RJD as a candidate of Grand Alliance, has also reached Lalu’s residence with the same desire.
Two former JDU MLAs resigned from the party
Earlier, Janata Dal United Two former MLAs also left the party Given. Those who resigned are Dr Faraz Fatmi and Ramnivas Prasad. Dr. Faraz Fatmi, son of former minister Ali Asraf Fatmi and a two-time MLA from Keoti assembly, is Ramniwas Prasad, a two-time MLA from Jale assembly, who has resigned. He did not give the reason. After this, Janata Dal United MLA Bima Bharti from Rupauli, Purnia has left Janata Dal United and joined Rashtriya Janata Dal. They are citing the changing attitude of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as the reason for separation.
Accused of conspiring against husband and son
Let us tell you that Bima Bharti had won the election from Rupauli MLA of Purnia on JDU ticket. Bima Bharti, who has been a five-time MLA and twice a minister, had demanded a ministerial post after winning the 2020 assembly elections. But, she became angry after not getting the ministerial post. After this he alleged that due to local JDU leaders his daughter Rani Bharti had lost the post of Zilla Parishad President. Here, before the floor test, Bima Bharti did not attend the JDU legislature party meeting. Bima Bharti’s husband and son were arrested on the day of the floor test. After this she reached the house. She alleged that a conspiracy was being hatched against her husband, son and supporters.

After leaving Janata Dal United, former minister Bima Bharti said that I am breaking my ties with Janata Dal U after being fed up with the unstable politics of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Along with those who betray the people of Bihar by compromising with sectarian forces, by changing alliances every 2-3 years without any reason, by creating political instability in the society and the state and by creating distrust among voters, by blocking development work and by suffering from unbridled bureaucracy.
