In Patna, an uncontrolled truck crushed a mother and son riding a bike, in which both died on the spot. The incident took place on the bypass of Beur police station area. The deceased have been identified as Manna Devi, a resident of Didarganj, and her son Rakesh Kumar.

The accident happened while returning from a sick relative

Regarding the incident, the police said that Manna Devi along with her son Rakesh Kumar had gone to the hospital to meet their sick relative on a bike. While returning, an uncontrolled truck coming at high speed near 70 feet of Beur police station crushed both of them. As soon as the incident happened, there was chaos. The truck driver fled with the vehicle. After the incident, the dead bodies of both mother and son remained on the road for a long time. However, after the incident, people from the vicinity gathered at the spot. Meanwhile, the traffic was disrupted for some time. Then the local people informed the Beur police station about the incident. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police of Beur police station reached the spot and the police sent the dead bodies of both mother and son to Patna AIIMS for postmortem.

Now police is investigating CCTV

In this case, the Beur police station in-charge says that the truck driver has fled with the vehicle. He said that the absconding truck driver is being searched through CCTV. After the incident, the police informed the family members about it. After receiving the information, the family members reached Patna AIIMS. However, anger was also seen among the local people regarding this incident. People say that the speed of vehicles on this route is very high. Due to this, small and big incidents keep happening on this route every day. Local people blamed the police administration and said that the police of this police station has completely failed to control the speed of vehicles.
