A heart-wrenching incident has happened in Nalanda. Dead bodies of three members of a family were found. All three have injury marks on their necks. Police suspect that the woman first hanged her son and daughter to death and then committed suicide. The womanâs husband is also absconding since the incident. The womanâs parents are accusing her of killing all three. There was a stir in the area after the incident. People from the surrounding area gathered. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Police has also called the FSL team for investigation. Police has identified the deceased as Sarita Devi (35), daughter Priya Kumari (10) and son Prince Kumar (12), wife of Jitendra Yadav, resident of Bhattbigha village of Hilsa police station area.
There was a dispute going on between husband and wife for a long time
It is being told that Sarita Deviâs maternal home is in Peer Bigha under Peer Bigha OP of Nalanda district. The marriage took place about 15 years ago. Apart from the husband and wife and two children, Jitendra Yadavâs elder brother also lives in the house. Whose mental condition is not good. He is also absconding after this incident. The husband works in agriculture. People say that the husband and wife were fighting for a long time. People are suspecting Jitendra to be the one who murdered the three.

Hilsa DSP Sumit Kumar said that the information about the incident was received at around 9:00 am. After this, the police immediately reached the spot. There they saw that the woman was hanging from a noose and two children were lying on the floor. There were black marks on their necks. It appears that they were strangled to death. Initial investigation revealed that there was a dispute between the husband and wife over something. The husband had gone to the field in the morning. In the same sequence, this incident was committed by the woman. The police is investigating all the points. The FSL team was called and the body was taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital from Bihar for post-mortem. The family is accusing the husband of murder. At present, the husband is absconding. Raids are going on in search of him.
