Purnia’s independent MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav and his wife and Rajya Sabha MP Ranjit Ranjan have got a big relief from the MP-MLA court. MP MLA Court has acquitted Pappu Yadav and his wife and Rajya Sabha MPs Ranjit Ranjan and Santosh Yadav in the 15 year old case. The court, while giving its verdict on Thursday, acquitted all the accused due to lack of evidence. This matter took place during the 2009 Lok Sabha elections. An FIR was registered against him accusing him of violating the code of conduct.
