A young man was murdered in Muzaffarpur. The reason was that he was in love with a girl. The girl’s family did not like this. It is alleged that the young man was called over a phone call late on Friday night. As soon as the young man reached to meet his girlfriend, the girl’s family members attacked him. The girl’s brother killed him by stabbing him repeatedly with a knife. Not only that, when the girl tried to intervene, she was also stabbed with a knife. This left her seriously injured. The incident took place late at night in the ward 8 main market of Sahibganj police station area of the district. There was panic in the area after the incident. The deceased youth has been identified as Ashish Kumar alias Bittu (25). In the whole case, SDPO Saraiya Kumar Chandan said that the matter of the murder of the youth in a love affair is coming to the fore. The family members allege that he was called by the girl’s family on phone. When he reached, he was murdered. The girl’s brother has been taken into custody. He is being interrogated. Further action is going on in the case. The girl is a resident of East Champaran. She lives in her maternal home.

After the incident, Ashish’s family members are crying a lot. The family members say that Ashish had just returned home with vegetables in the evening when he got a call. After this he left the house. When asked, he said that he will come in a while and then eat food. When he did not come after a long time, we started searching. Then we came to know that Ashish has been stabbed to death. We were stunned to know this. The family members say that the girl’s family members had already threatened to kill him. The family members have appealed to the police for justice.
