Former Zilla Parishad President and present Zilla Parishad member said that the game for the post of President has started. Both the groups are holding a meeting with the councilor regarding this. 18 councilors had gathered at the residence of current chairman Naina Kumari. District Council Vice President Dr. Sheetal Prasad Yadav also participated in this meeting.
Efforts to woo councilors begin

There are a total of 43 seats in Gaya Zilla Parishad. Zilla Parishad elections were held two years ago. After that Naina Kumari had won the election of Chairman. But after completion of two years, the game of Shah Mat starts again.

On the condition of anonymity, a councilor of Paraiya block said that the tenure of Chairman Naina Kumari has been more than two years. We have decided that whichever candidate of both the groups gives money, we will vote for that candidate and make him the chairman.
