In Purnia, an elderly woman was brutally beaten to death in a fight between two children. The young man was seriously injured in this incident. The incident took place in Parora ward number 12 of Nagar police station area, where an elderly woman who had gone to rescue two children from a fight was beaten to death. The deceased woman has been identified as Shyama Devi, 60, wife of Kalicharan Rishi, resident of Parora Ward No. 12. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body, sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the matter. There is mourning in the village after the incident. The family members are in bad condition and crying.

Murder took place to resolve children’s dispute

Regarding the incident, family members say that two children were fighting among themselves. An elderly woman who had gone to stop the children from fighting was beaten to death by the children’s family members. A youth was also seriously injured in this incident, who was admitted to Purnia GMCH for treatment. People nearby informed the local police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Police say that they have started investigating the matter.

Regarding the incident, K Nagar police station chief Navneet Kumar Gupta said that a woman was killed in a mutual fight between two children. The police station chief said that the body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated.
