Bihar News: Patna HC Acquitted All Accused In Double Engineer Murder Case Darbhanga Bihar Police – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

All the accused had appealed in the Patna High Court against the decision of life imprisonment given by the Darbhanga Civil Court, which was heard by the division bench of Justice Ashutosh Kumar and Justice Rajesh Kumar Verma of the Patna High Court. After completion of the hearing, the final decision was reserved. The verdict in this case was pronounced today, in which all the accused were acquitted. In the said case, the side of the main accused Vikas Jha Kalia was presented by advocates Ashar Mustafa, Prateek Mishra and Vikas Kumar Jha.

In the Baheri police station area, road construction company engineers Brajesh Kumar Singh and Mukesh Kumar Singh were gunned down with sophisticated weapons in broad daylight, due to which both of them died on the spot. In this case, Darbhanga Police took massive and swift action and arrested all the accused including Mukesh Pathak, Santosh Jha Kalia and not only sent them to jail but also filed a charge sheet swiftly. ADJ 5 Rupesh Dev of Darbhanga Civil Court had sentenced all the accused to life imprisonment in March 2018. Advocate Vikas Kumar Jha said that due to faulty research and lack of evidence, Patna High Court acquitted all the accused.
