Criminals shot a young man in Patna. He died on the spot. Police recovered the body of the land dealer from a field in Alampur village on Wednesday morning. Police reached the spot after getting information and also recovered three bullet shells from the spot. Phulwari Sharif police station in-charge said that land dealer Vikas Kumar left his house late on Tuesday night and did not return. In the morning, information was received that he was murdered and his body was thrown in a field.

Murder in dispute over money transaction

It is being told that the criminals shot about 6 bullets at the land dealer. The police have also recovered bullet shells from the spot. The police said that the murder was committed due to a dispute over money transactions. Alamganj resident Vikas Kumar (24) was a land dealer. He left his house on Tuesday evening at around 6:00 pm. When the family members called him, they spoke to him till around 7 o’clock and then his phone was switched off. Fearing some untoward incident, the family members informed the Phulwari Sharif police station.

Police kept searching for Vikas throughout the night

It is being told that Vikas Kumar was searched throughout the night by the police and local villagers, but no trace of him was found. On Wednesday morning, there was a sensation among the villagers after the information of Vikas Kumar’s motorcycle being found in a field near Alamganj. After a lot of searching, the villagers saw the body of Vikas Kumar in the middle of a field in Alamganj and informed the local police station about it. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Patna AIIMS for post-mortem.
