Hilsa DSP-2 Islampur Gopal Krishna said that on technical, scientific and humanitarian grounds, the main shooter of this incident, Amit Kumar, son of Anil Prasad, resident of Kaushik Nagar of Hilsa police station area, has been arrested with a country-made pistol and cartridges. More than a dozen cases are registered against Amit in Hilsa, Tharthari and other police stations, including robbery, robbery, Arms Act and other serious cases.

Ekangarsarai police station incharge Akhilesh Kumar Jha said that the mastermind of this incident is Rinku Kumari, wife of Ram Udesh Prasad, resident of Kandhu Peepar of Chandi police station area. Who had given Rs 8 lakh to deceased Arun Kumar for the job. When Rinku Kumari did not get a job and she started demanding money from Arun Kumar, there was a rift between the two. After this Rinku made a plan to murder Arun Kumar. After this the woman contacted her nephew Suraj Kumar, resident of Kaushik Nagar of Hilsa police station area. Suraj told about murdering Vaiju of his own village. After this, Vaiju along with his friends Bihari Kumar and Amit Kumar, residents of Nonia Veegha, prepared the complete planning of the murder.

Baiju and Bihari contacted the shooter, Amit Kumar, resident of Kaushik Nagar, after which a plan was made to murder the headmaster. Receipt of Arun Kumar’s movements was done for two-four days. Vaiju was an expert in stealing motorcycles. On the day of the incident, he had committed the shooting using a stolen motorcycle. Amit Kumar, Baiju and Bihari, riding on two motorcycles, shot Arun after he crossed the railway gate at Ekangarsarai. After this he absconded from there. The entire deal was done for Rs 2.5 lakh. Out of this, Rinku had transferred Rs 60 thousand to Amit’s account on the day of the incident. Whereas Rs 30 to 35 thousand was given in cash before the incident.

Police station incharge Akhilesh Kumar Jha told that Arun Kumar’s wife was already suspicious of Rinku. However, if the police had taken Rinku into custody and interrogated her, she would have distanced herself from the entire incident because the police had no evidence. At the same time, suspicion of Vadini was being cast on other people also. In search of concrete evidence, the mobile and bank accounts of Arun Kumar’s family members and Rinku and others were searched. After this, after connecting the link, it was found that Rinku Kumari had transferred Rs 60 thousand to Amit Kumar on the day of the incident. When the police found out about Amit Kumar, investigation revealed that Amit is a habitual criminal. On this suspicion, Amit Kumar was taken into custody and interrogated. After this he admitted his involvement in this incident and also told the names of his associates. The involvement of four people has come to light in this entire murder. Of these, shooter Amit Kumar has been arrested. Raids are also being conducted to arrest other accused.
