Now, late on Thursday night, near Nayan Chak Kali temple of Khagaul police station area, criminals fired bullets at a property dealer. The deceased has been identified as property dealer Bhanu Paswan, who is said to be a resident of Nayan Chak under Khagaul police station area.

Giving information about the incident, Bhanu Paswan’s brother-in-law Chittaranjan Paswan said that Bhanu Paswan (40) was returning home in his car late on Thursday night. It is being told that after getting down from the car at some distance from the house, he was about to reach home on foot. In the same sequence, the criminals ambushed from the east near Nayanchak Kali temple fired four bullets at him in quick succession. As soon as the bullet hit Bhanu Paswan in the head and body, Bhanu Paswan fell there. Meanwhile the criminals fled from there. As soon as people heard the sound of firing, people nearby reached the spot.

Local people admitted the injured Bhanu Paswan to a private nursing home in Patna for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Khagaul police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The police have also started scanning the CCTV footage of the incident site and surrounding areas. The reason behind the incident is said to be a mutual dispute.
