Criminals brutally murdered a railway worker in Gaya. After the murder, to hide the evidence, the body was thrown into the water tank of his government residence and sprinkled salt on it. The incident took place in Inspector Colony of Civil Lines police station area. After receiving information about the incident, teams of Civil Lines Police Station, Railway Police Station and RPF reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Kumar Sinha, resident of employee house number 416 of Inspector Railway Colony. He was working as a trackman in the engineering department. He was also a teammate of the water team. The criminals had thrown the body of Sanjay Kumar Sinha in the tank of the railway employee’s residence. Now the police have recovered the dead body.

Railway worker says that railway worker Sanjay Kumar Sinha had gone to Patna after taking leave on 25th April. After returning from Patna, he was murdered in the government residence and the body was kept in a sack in the water tank of the residence and salt was poured over it. When he did not report for duty two days after the completion of his leave, colleagues went to his residence to look for him. On reaching there, they noticed blood stains in the house. Then people became suspicious due to the strong foul smell nearby, after which information about the matter was given to the senior officer and GRP. The matter came to light when the police reached there. Now the police is taking its action.
There is also talk of two marriages
Colleagues say that deceased railway worker Sanjay Kumar Sinha had married twice. He also has children from both wives. People say about Sanjay that he used to take care of both his wives and their children.

According to railway sources, deceased railwayman Sanjay Kumar Sinha had also worked for some time with the monitoring team of the engineering department of East Central Railway. There is also a discussion that Sanjay used to actively support other railway workers (his colleagues) in their departmental problems and used to solve their problems.

DVR disappeared by cutting CCTV wire
Regarding the incident, City SP Prerna Kumar said that his body has been recovered from the house of a railway employee in Inspector Colony of Civil Lines police station area. The body has been sent to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. During the investigation, all the belongings of the house were scattered. Also the wire of CCTV camera was found cut. The DVRs showing the incident also disappeared. He said that the police is investigating the matter.
