In Purnia, the car of the state president of the youth RJD, Rajesh Yadav, met with an accident. He was going to attend the election rally of former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav in Bhawanipur of Rupauli assembly in a Scorpio, however, before he could attend it, his Scorpio collided with a school van coming from the front near Mirganj.
In this head-on collision, the white coloured Scorpio of the state president of Yuva RJD with number plate BR 01 PH 7151 and the school van whose vehicle number is BR 11 AF 5585 overturned. In which the state president of Yuva RJD, Rajesh Yadav, was seriously injured. The incident took place on Dhamdaha Mirganj road of Mirganj police station area. On getting information about the accident, Tejashwi Yadav reached to meet Rajesh Yadav before the public meeting.
Locals gathered at the spot immediately after the accident. Seeing his critical condition, he was immediately admitted to Max 7 Hospital in Kasba. As soon as the information about the incident was received, police from Mirganj police station reached the spot. The driver of the school van suffered minor injuries. Villagers gathered at the spot said that the Scorpio was coming at a high speed from Purnea which was going to attend Tejashwi Yadav’s election rally in Rupauli. In the same sequence, the school van was going to drop the children from its side from Mirganj. In the same sequence, a high speed Scorpio coming from Purnea hit the van hard.
