In Patna, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary took a tough stand on the incident of attack on Dalits in Nawada and said that the culprits will not be spared under any circumstances. He claimed that there are clues of involvement of RJD people behind this incident, who are trying to scare and humiliate Dalits. He said that the police took prompt action and registered an FIR against 28 people and so far 15 people have been arrested. Raids are continuing to arrest the remaining accused.
Samrat Chaudhary alleged that RJD is conspiring to spoil the law and order in the state by giving protection to goons and criminals. But this conspiracy will not be allowed to succeed. He said that the government will take strict action to maintain law and order.
Along with this, the Deputy Chief Minister welcomed the announcement of laying the foundation stone of AIIMS in Darbhanga next month and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister JP Nadda. He called it a Dussehra gift of the NDA double engine government to Bihar. He said that the construction of AIIMS in Darbhanga will make the dream of crores of people of North Bihar come true.
He said that the central government has entrusted the responsibility of building the Darbhanga AIIMS to IIT Delhi, which will complete it keeping in mind the challenge of building construction in low land areas. He said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also played a commendable role in this project, who made a significant contribution in providing land for AIIMS.
