Sand mining has been banned in Bihar since June 15. As soon as sand mining was banned on Saturday night, sand mafias have once again become active in Nawada. Sand mafias are continuously targeting common people as well as special people. The latest case is from Narauli Raviyo village of Sirdala police station area of Naxal-affected area of Nawada district. Where a sub-inspector was run over by sand mafia with a tractor, due to which the sub-inspector was seriously injured. After that the sub-inspector was admitted to a government hospital for treatment. From where the doctors referred him to Pawapuri Hospital for better treatment.
According to the information, the victim sub-inspector Sanjit Kumar is posted in the Naxal-affected Sirdala police station of the district. Regarding the incident, it is being told that the sub-inspector had gone out with his team to conduct a raid based on the information. During this, an attempt was made to stop a tractor loaded with sand. Then the tractor driver hit the sub-inspector and crushed him on the spot. After this, the driver fled from the spot with the sand-laden tractor. At the same time, the sub-inspector was seriously injured.
After getting information about the incident, Sirdala police station in-charge Sanjeet Ram admitted the injured inspector to the government hospital for treatment. From where the doctors referred him to Pawapuri Medical Hospital for better treatment. Police station in-charge Sanjeet Ram said that he was hit by a tractor. During this, the inspector got injured. At present, he has been admitted to the government hospital. The entire matter is being investigated by the police. It is worth noting that the police team of many police stations in the district has been attacked by sand mafia earlier also. Police also takes action after the attack, despite this the sand mafia does not stop attacking.
A similar incident had happened in Jamui district as well. Around 7 am, an investigation was started under the leadership of Inspector Prabhat Ranjan. During that time, the inspector’s team tried to stop a tractor loaded with sand. But the tractor driver did not stop the vehicle, instead he crushed the inspector and the constable. Inspector Prabhat Ranjan died in that incident.
