Candidates protesting in Patna beware, Section 144 implemented in these areas

At the same time, Patna district administration has tried to control the protesting candidates. Section 144 has been imposed by Patna district administration. This section will remain applicable in Patna Sadar and Patna City subdivision. This means that now standing of many people together will be considered a crime. This prohibitory order has been implemented in Patna City till further orders and in Patna Sadar subdivision till February 5. This order has been issued on Wednesday by Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Patna Sadar Shrikant Kundalik Khandekar and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Patna City Gunjan Singh. It has been said in the order that for the last several days, demonstrations are being held at various government offices and other places by the candidates preparing for the railway examinations, demanding increase in the vacancies for recruitment to the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP). . Due to this the common people are facing a lot of trouble. In the letter issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer of Patna City, it was said that student and youth organizations are protesting in connection with the Railway Recruitment Examination from January 29. Through social media groups, messages are being propagated at many places to mobilize students and youth to mobilize crowds for violent and aggressive demonstrations, stop railway operations, damage government and private property and commit arson. Due to the above situation, there is a strong possibility of loss of life and property and disruption of normal life. Therefore, there is a need to ban any kind of unnecessary gathering and demonstration in public places, squares and railway stations.

This cannot be the explanation for ALP removing only 5696 posts.

National President of Yuva Halla Bol, Anupam said that the Railway Minister has given a public reply to our demand regarding ALP recruitment. He has said that in the last one year, 1.5 lakh jobs were given and now recruitment will be done every year. But this answer does not seem to have anything to do with the students’ demand. Apart from this, there are two major flaws in the minister’s argument. First of all, these 1.5 lakh jobs are of five years old recruitments and not of last one year. The explanation for ALP’s recruitment of only 5696 posts cannot be that recruitment will be done every year. That too when lakhs of posts are lying vacant and accidents like Balasore are taking place in the Railways. Anyway, recruitment should be held every year. The government will not be doing any favor by doing this because not only are a large number of posts becoming vacant every year, the population and the work of the department are also increasing. Railway candidates across the country are dissatisfied with this reply of the Railway Minister and are still demanding that the number of posts in ALP recruitment should be increased and the candidates should be given relaxation in the age limit. The Central Government is requested to immediately take cognizance of our legitimate demand.
